Made an ally bracket that extends from underneath the main battery to hold it in place, extended hoses and power to it.

I still intend to cover it with a heat shroud, just gotta find the correct material.
If it fails, Optima will cover it, they say nothing about heat damage being an issue for warranty.
And vibration would be the same if it was an internal install above the rear wheels I assume?

Done a handful of things over the past few days...
Repaired the rear Ac controls as the screws had vibrated loose and the controls no longer slid.
Replaced the battery terminals with a unit from Projecta that is perfect for dual battery setup... I'll post pictures shortly.
Removed passenger seat to repair sub amp... now have bass again but in putting the seat back in again the front left retaining nut broke it's weld and I'm not sure how I'm going to secure that bolt properly mow as the nut isn't under the car... its inside a body support rail. The bolt is in the nut reasonably tight but it is loose and does allow for some seat movement. Have a long haul coming up with my wife soon so I'll definetly need to fix the new ejector seat beforehand haha. Although she says I've been pissing her off lately so maybe this is my chance haha.
Attacked the overhead console a little more. Looking at fibreglassing the new one but not only holding a radio but also some of my gauges to get them off the A pillar. Will shaping. With foam soon and show the results.
Considering pulling the carpet and roof lining to recover them and add some sound deadening while I'm there.
