      • It had to happen we are now 100,000 km old. For her birthday she got a full service and a bath not to mention the new set of TJM airbag compatible side steps from TJM Brendale recently, thanks Darren.

I replaced the Racor fuel filter after 15000 km. Its setup before the factory unit and is 20 micron. Considering the low km's the filters been in service, that I only buy my BP fuel from the one servo for the last 4 years and there is a tank filter in play that gets changed every 20000 km the filter is almost at it's end of service. For those non believers take heed and change your filters regularly.

            • How good are the Sandgrabba mats! Bought them straight after buying the Prado and with a 1yo & 3yo in the back, spilling milk, orange juice and everything else, they have been great. Oh yeah, they contain the sand too!

              • I just got my recently, but after around 5minutes, wished I'd got them years ago.
Plus their customer service was excellent.

You've only filled up at the same servo for the last 4 years? You don't get out much do you? LOL

Good point. I have bought fuel all over the country - try to get BP or Caltex at major fuel stops. Have on occasions bought from 'local' service stations - but suspect same fuel as I am getting from BP and Caltex.

I would be lucky if I have filled up at the same service twice in the last 4 years I know that's a bit of exaggeration, I filled up at Mount Dare in 2012 and again this year

                        Cheers Andrew

Yes, but your boss hasn't yet caught you with the 44 gallon drum and syphon sucking the juice out of those semis that you drive.

                          • I gave mine a polish to take out most of the scratches from my last bush trip. Just in time to get some more scratches down in Tassie.

                              I wish!

I put enough fuel in the truck each week to run the Prado for a year, glad I don't have to pay for that fuel

                              • Washed and polished it. Katcher - then hand washed using car shampoo - then Katcher - then autoglyn aqua polish. Hand buffed and tires and wheels done. Just so I can take it out in 10 days for a trip to the Flinders-Maree and get it all dirty again.
