    • LED interior and number plate lights are in

Sandgrabba mats came in the mail today too

Snorkel filter for the drive into the wheat belt on Saturday to keep the bugs out.

And I bought this to tidy up the messy wiring, gonna try and wire it up tomorrow if I have the time. Has anyone put it on top of the fuse box there? Or would another place be better?

That was my Hilux, 85 2.4 diesel, slow, gutless, noisy but unbreakable.

And Hiaces. I had an old 93 that did 560 when I sold it a couple of months ago. Was still getting better fuel economy than a new one. Couldn't believe it.

                        • That last number 5 in the top row looks a bit out of alignment you been playing around with it ??, you trying to keep the klms down a bit AJ, maybe trying to keep it under the 600 thou so you get some good $$ for it, advertising it with low klms lol.....
Yeah 2.4 was a dog like my old 2.8 was but they were are a good motor and kept going. Very very little goes wrong with them. Sold mine (2.8D) with 300 on it and until 12 months ago (dont see the bloke any more) was still going strong. The 2.4 was actually a better motor then the 2.8D I thought. Now the 2.2D which my mate had should have been used as a boat anchor, also reliable but was quicker to walk....Cheers Steve

                          • I once did a quater mile run with the old Hilux, my mate timed it with a calendar

Didn't quite make 600 thou before I sold it.

                            Cheers Andrew
