Anyone used rustfree.com.au in south brisbane

Hi all,

This is my first post so be nice :-)

I want to get my prado rust proofed - the spray on kind. I don't want to do it myself (lack of tools/space/skills haha) and have trawled the internet looking for somewhere in South Brisbane with no luck. The only place I can find is www.rustfree.com.au but I can't find any reviews of them on the 'net. Has anyone used/heard of them and are happy with the service? I'm looking at their Full Conventional Spray Rustproof for $700

I've had two vehicles that were rustproofed and they rusted out twice as fast as any none rustproofed vehicle I've ever ever owned and a crap load faster than comparable vehicles of the same make and age . That's just my experience . If I bought a new vehicle and was asked if I wanted it rustproofed I would tell them to f .off . Save your $700 , your car will last longer . Just don't drive it through salt water .

no one does chemical rust proofing anymore...
there was an issue with lanolin based products, and someone will correct me, but the type of lanolin that was used to protect, was actually more corrosive than salt water.
i used a tub of Lanomax grease on a new redco trailer, it was ####ed in 3 years, another guy i know who'd bought a trailer at the same time, had half the issues my trailer had. in saying that though, my first hilux a '97 i coated in tectyl, and its still brand new.. go figure?
