For the record the VSC doesn't drop the revs , it uses the brakes to pull the car straight , if you try to counter steer to correct it you end up wobbling all over the rd . I have used it many times , it's brilliant
03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !

Have you tried doing doughnuts lol. I'm 100% sure it puts car in some sort of limp mode unableing you to rev the engine, I do agree thou it almost likely uses brakes aswell. Main point being. Trying to get off a beach from driving along it and turning sharp off it to a main track under power would be difficult with vsc enabled.

Uses brakes to correct itself and and cuts engine until control regained over car

The first time I towed my trailer with the 120 on very soft sand I forgot to lock the centre diff and damn near bogged it. Lights and alarms flashing and as much as I buries my right foot it got slower and finally stopped with odd wheels biting and digging in. How embarrassment! Rectified my brain fade and drove off like I was on hard ground.

The VSC will drop the power off by closing the Fly by wire throttle and applying brakes all at the same time.
            The systems work really well.
Have had mine step out sideways on very slippery wet muddy roads & it has been really good.

            Regards, Jason.

When playing around under the dash I hope you took your watch off! For years I had a watch with 2 spot weld marks and a wrist with a neat burn scar. I hit the back of the ignition switch, didn't I . Lesson learnt so you aren't the only foolish one and in any event you now have clean contacts on the wires.

I bet that hurt! Thankfully it was an easy fix, it makes a massive difference! It goes in wednesday morning to get an e-locker fitted to the rear, soon it'll be unstoppable!
