What did you do to your 150 today?

Built a box to contain tubs for an upcoming trip to the center. Happy with the result, however the 16mm MDF makes for a pretty heavy box, maybe 30-40kgs?
Anyway, I built it so I could store stuff on top of the flimsy plastic tubs (clothes and food).

That's the plan, hiring a Kimberley Kamper. For future trips, I hope my fridge sits in one side of the box, but not applicable to this one trip.

Personally I would go up one size in the tyres to 265/75/17. It is 30mm taller then standard so shouldn't be any problems fitting even without lift.

265/75 17 is 54mm larger in diameter, 265/70 17 is 28mm larger. That is nominal size as actual sizes vary brand to brand and type to type. The 75 profile is almost a 33" tyre so I am guessing careful attention to offset is needed whereas the 70 profile will fit standard rims.

My mistake, meant to type 265/70. Seems to me to be a good compromise between size, fitting and performance loss/added weight.

When I upgraded to the 265/70 KO2's I didn't notice any performance loss, & fuel usage only changed maybe .2-.3 km/l when aspect ratio was factored in. The difference in handling is well worth any minor negatives.

Oil just shy of 50,000k is a little browned considering its only ever towed the camper trailer

50k service done by my local dealer. Booked it in and organised to drop it in last night so they could do the cold injector feedback values. When i collected it I was told everything was within specs but when i asked for a copy of the report they didnt have one. I asked if they had them on file they could print out, apparently not so i suggested that they hadnt been done and asked for proof..
after some issues with the last service and this it seems i am no longer on speaking terms with my Toyota service man

Mine were printed on my service docs for my 20k service. Guess your looking forward to the after service phone call to ensure you experience was excellent!!
