Towed my 2.3tonne caravan back home 10hrs to the coast after spending Easter at a friends Opal mine in Grawin. Prado performed brilliantly on the trip home, the kids not so much lol.
Vinyl wrapped all the internal door handles and black glossy panels. Having learnt how rubbish the finish of these items are with my last 150, I thought I give this a go. Having a 2 y/o son and another on the way, anything has to help! Came up awesome, and as soon as I get a build thread going I will show the pics. As long as you don't mind a fiddlely project, this is worth a go.
Also fitted one of Brains Transfer Case & Actuator Guards. Not much space under a unlifted 150, but the guard fit was great and instructions spot on. Highly recommended.
Last Thursday had B/B and winch UHF radio snorkel and lights added. Yep I paid someone else to do it, I think I'm getting to old to do that stuff. Next week second battery goes in.
What I found interesting is the amount of movement between the B/B and body on the rough surfaces. It's like it's not even attached to the same vehicle. Any one else experience simular?
Yep. I drive a couple of 150's at work with ARB and ECB steel bars. They move a lot in comparison to the vehicle front. First time i noticed it i thought it was loose but checked it and was all ok. Done about 100k km of corrugations and not fallen off yet
Cheers

Hi
Its actually the body moving on the rubber mounts, looks disconerting but nothing to worry about. The fitters should have paint marked the mounting bolts so you will be able to see if they come loose.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Fitted HIDs to my IPFs, now to work out witch HIDs be best for my low beams. Really quite yellow, and i have adjustable low beams, so should be ok as far as dazzling oncomers goes.
Fitted ledlad kit to prado interior lights, finally. Panel bulb replacements for middle and rear lights are great, t10 bulbs for map and vanity lights are quite blue in comparison and a fair bit dimmer, still good though
