    Yeah i am hoping for that call tomorrow. Last time they called me before i had driven the car. Turned out we had developed the airbox rattle during the service and the heat shields were bent in the transmission tunnel and rattled away on the brake or fuel lines running there. Hopefully they fixed that today.

    • Picked it up after having a bar, winch, lift and new boots put on. It's like a completely different car to drive. More like it should have been out of the factory. So precise. Just in the process of packing it up for a few days in the north west. Can't wait to see how the new kit performs off road.

        I reckon Toyota dealerships are the worst for actually proving the work they performed, maybe its because mines on a Novated lease, but they just expect to say all good, hand you the keys and you drive off. No indication of current brake pad wear, tread wear etc.

        • Mine is on a lease too but makes no difference. If they provided proper customer support they would keep records of this sort of thing then they would be able to say " your injectors are trending to bad time to look at replacing them" or on current trends your pads may not last to next service.
          If they dont give the customer the info no one is looking at what is happening over time

              Where i take mine they record the tread depth and condition of each tyre as well as Air pressure
              Pad wear recorded as % left before replacement required.
              i will ask for the injector values to be checked when i get it serviced next week. Interested to see how they respond to that request

                • What did you do to your 150 today?

                  Then when it came home I finished the dual battery install. Fitted the crank battery from the 95 as a temp measure.
                  Also fitted the TRaxRax from the old one as well using UniStrut nuts so i can remove them and refit easily to go in the garage

                        • Yep starting to lose the soccer mum car look. Just need bash plates (but KDSS is a bit of a problem there) and lift kit which is booked in before the GTG

                            What is the issue with bash plates in KDSS Prado? I'm asking as i plan to have ARB UVP installed in my kakadu.

                            • TIN's plates cover a larger area and the wings are higher than standard plates and need to be modified to fit KDSS vehicles. Havent looked at ARB ones so you may be ok.

                              • Had an oh Shoot moment when the fuel filter requires maintenance message came on while towing. Found a cable disconnected from the factory filter. Reconnection didnt reset alarm so a quick trip into Gatton Toyota and they reset it, no problem with the filter. I think that was my bad while pulling cables yesterday
