Fitted first addition to my 2011 VX - Rhino Pioneer Platform... First of a few things on their way, then will start up a build thread.
Have been a lurker for a while getting some ideas. The thread below was great and is still relevant for removing the rails. Made it easy for an amateur...

thanks mate, i'm getting the same Rhino tray on my new truck, although they're fitting it on the rails. What's the benefit of removing the rails and fitting the tray to three cross bars? Carrying weight?

Drew - there are a few threads on here that detail the options and benefits. Main benefit is able to carry extra weight.... If you do a search there are some really good posts from others...

Other way to do it is with a zip tie through the vents and then it wont budge at all!

Wired up my LED driving lights, happy with the job and happy with the light they put out.

Changed my high beam hid's ballasts to 50 watt down from 75 watt.
Then fitted the 75 watt ballasts to my Hella 4000's and replaced the hid bulb for newer ones.

Blindingly bright now!

Put in towpro, uhf, wired up my spotlights, bcdc charger, ran wiring down the back and put in all my accessory wiring. Doesn't sound like a lot, but lots of trims off and a bit of time filing out the hole for the uhf handpeice to plug in, cutting trims, drilling holes, etc.

Wife looked at the car and asked me what have I been doing all day? I call that a success, she's not ment to notice what I've been doing. Ready to go away for Easter now with a working fridge

Fitted my Maxtrax onto the Rhino bar with the mounting pins. Took the kids fishing down the beach just to see if I could try out the Maxtrax......
Still spankers on the roof....... lets just hope they stay that way.

Had a 2" Lift kit (Ironman Foam Cell Pro) installed.

Haven't had much of a drive since installation, but it looks sweet.
