True fido, but it was 38deg C with clueless numpty's screaming past showering me with dust and gravel, admittedly I have removed it a couple of times before when washing the prado and at some stage in the future I will be upgrading both wheels and tyres.Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.

Checked out the (never visited before) menu options on my 2010 ZR (Shorty).
Found out that I can introduce and change several options such as headlight off delay. Now done that.
But cannot access the "close windows and moonroof" with key fob. I gather that will need a visit to the dealership.
Can anyone tell me what "2nd start" is all about? Cannot find it in owners manual.

2nd start puts the transmission in 2nd and doesn't let it drop to first when driving off. Can be useful is sand, snow and toothpaste. Idea is to limit wheelspin on take off which could bury the car. Never used it myself. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

As the others have said it starts you off in second gear, it's really useful and I use it a lot particularly in low range if 1st gear isn't really needed and you avoid the jerky change from first to second, handy also on big dunes with short run ups.

Thanks Guys for the explanation (2nd Start). I suppose that it will be mentioned in one of the "extra" owners manuals that no one ever reads. Maybe I should get round to it.
Now to get the thread back on track Yesterday I ordered the set of LED globes for the internal lights. (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121356201531) Have already got one for the rear most dome light and it has made a great difference especially when unpacking the shorty in the dark.

Just picked up the ZR from getting a 2 3/4" exhaust fitted.
In the short drive back to work have noticed an improvement is response and no shudder around the 1400 revs.
Also picked up new solar screens for the rear 3 windows which a new template was created for the SWB, now to fit them to see how they look.

Yesterday picked up steering controls from ebay, mine had stereo controls but wanted more options so bought controls used on vx or highers specs, then rewired and add a 4kohm resistors to the other functions wire to allow stereo recognize as different button because has similar resistors as audio controls, now has 12 buttons working instead of eight, and connect one of the remain buttons to allow change trip computer from the steering. Sounds a lot of work but took like 2 hours, of course, downloaded wiring diagrams form official site (cost 3 euros for 1 hour).

Got around to installing a new head unit. Settled on the Pioneer with Digital Radio. Has all the normal stuff, DVD, Bluetooth, ext mic, ipod etc as well as an app mode for connecting some iPhone apps to display on the screen. Coupled with the dynamat and new speakers I installed a few weeks ago, the sound quality is excellent. I had the shop make up the cable so I could self install. It only took about and hour plus another 20 minutes or so for the digital antenna.
Have also installed a new set of HID's in the Narva 225's. Its a D2S kit and the difference over the last (cheap) kit is amazing. Another case of you get what you pay for.
