Installed outback 4wd interiors drawers on the weekend, went smoothly enough with a couple of quirks.
Initially back door would not close due to rear facing side panels. moved them back 5mm with some re-drilling of the side plates and its fine. Now it closes but when driving i can hear an air type noise. kind of like the rear door not closing and sucking air, or air passing over something.
Initially from the old seat removal there are some old bolt holes...I thought it was these and siliconed them up. Not sure if its better or not but the noise is still there.
anyone have any ideas.. I'm thinking.
1. there maybe more bolt holes I have not found yet that are exposed to the outside.
2. just more road/air noise because the tin floor is now exposed. I do not have the drawers in or the top panels. just the drawer chassis
3. door is still being held open slightly. i don't think its this as i put grease on the rubber and closed the door softly and it touches all the way around.
cheers.
