  • AMTS Heavy Duty Radiator plate for 120 ARB & Opposite Lock bullbar

Upon request by MLC, I started working on a replacement plate for ARB's radiator plate as it has been badly mis-shapen from his many conquests.

Below are pics of the test fit of the prototype. It is made from 3mm steel and now covers the large gap above the factory tie down points which can allow a stick to puncture the radiator.

The test fit was a success and the prototype can now be welded before it gets zinc plated and powder coated.

The plate fits ARB and Opposite Lock bullbars.

Never seen an OL bullbar in real life before. But anything is possible. Might be easier communicating via email regarding the measurements.

Does it have any reinforcing ribs or anything similar? I've bent mine a couple of times and hammered it flat again but now it wobbles in the centre. I could be interested in the new one.

There are no reinforcing ribs but there are folds on all 4 sides; and right above the factory tie down points are pockets that are welded in to help with a bit of corner strength where the ARB version has nothing. This plate might be nearly twice as thick also which might assist with the "Rolf Harris effect".

Heavy Duty Radiator plate for 120 ARB bullbar

I assume that this plate is typical for both the ARB Deluxe and Sahara Bar Andrew?

Edit: Can this be bundled up with your under body protection????

Don't know for sure Craig as I have only measured off and fitted the prototype to ARB Deluxe bars. Anything can be bundled up if you try hard enough

Was alright until I came over a big dune on the Googs Track that bent it over like a ten old over Rolf's knee.
