  • All installed. Will have to get some better night shots...the ones I took last night are a bit terrible.

They were pretty easy to install. No instructions, but I made it up. I did swap out some of the hex nuts and spring washers for Nylocs.
The kit comes with everything you need to connect it to a wiring harness, even both the Male and Female Deutsch connectors, already set up. Just needed to join some cables with Solder/Crimps/etc.
They did require 2 new holes to be drilled for each light, so if your not willing/able to drill holes, these aren't the lights for you.
I have a bit of final tidy up work to do tonight or later this week, but so far I'm pretty impressed.

My thoughts exactly. They dont have the distance power that my Lightforce 170s had, but the general flooding of light is significantly better than my LF170s + Light Bar.
If there is one complaint, and its only a little one, when tightening one of the little bolts into the light's housing, I appear to have stripped out some of the thread in the housing itself. - Tightening a steel bolt into what i believe is a tapped hole in aluminium is probably the issue.
By removing one of the wahers, the bolt picked up some extra thread and tightened ok. I might look to find some slightly longer bolts, just in case.

          • Nice one Spilsy, when I saw your initial shots I was quite unimpressed but the 'real world' shots look good.
            Cheers

I did say the first ones were terrible - taken with my phone, different exposures, different compensations, different positions. Thats why I wanted to get out with my good camera and my tripod - to try and standardise the shots.
If I was better prepared, I'd have even marked out various distances, but I think you can get the picture.

                • The heavier tyre on the back seems to have made the door rattle and squeak a little more... Any thoughts on remedies?

                  • The rear door on my 80 series used to squeak, so I would give the rubber seal a light spray of silicon spray now and then to keep it quite.

                    • It's definitely more a rattle at the moment. I think it's the strut thingy.

I adjusted (as much as possible) the wedge catch plate system for the back door and have just about killed the rattle. Now to spray the seals with some silicone and it should be pretty quiet.
