I can't comment on the Arab product line, but my TJM T13 bull bar has two frame bolts that are 190mm apart - fido666 informs me that the RPPRA150 from Roadsafe will work with the TJM bar on the 120!

Now with the silly season on us, I will endeavour to look at this further in the new year.

If I am going to do it, then it will definitely have happened by then.

I looking into a CNC Plasma cutter at the moment and will be looking to expand my range in order to have it pay for its self. If I get the machine I'll draw up a replacement part and get it load tested, I could even get it on vehicle tested so it truly would be rated, but once again that's big bucks, so demand will dictate how far I go on that front.

      Cheers Andrew

Bearing in mind what I said about the angles between the mounting points and the cutout for the bottom lip of the bar being the same as the 150. I have not seen them up against the mountings for the 120 version of the TJM T13 bar.

I'm luke warm. If you are doing them sooner rather than later this may progress to tepid.

In any event, I bloody want some so based on supply and demand I suggest you acquire the plasma cutter soon!

Good to see that there is some interest in these, but just to put things into perspective for you a bit Rob, the Plasma table (already have the plasma cutter) will set me back around 25 grand to get up and running, a dozen expressions of interest for these points while a start is a long way from building a business case for me to acquire it. But I have a few other things on the boil not related to Prados or PP, or 4wd's for that matter that may well help.

                          Cheers Andrew

Just to confirm what has been discussed in regards to ARB Bars with 3rd party recovery points.

Yesterday I had an ARB Deluxe Bar fitted to my 2004 GXL. I also provided them with a pair of rated recovery points that I had sourced from TJM (RP-PRA150). The recovery points were fitted as part of the bar installation and bolted straight on.

I replaced a Sovereign Bar with Outback Ideas recovery points, and it was only thanks to the information on this forum that I was able to convince the other half that we were not downgrading our protection and recoverability.

I did drop in to a TJM out of metro Melbourne and they wanted $180 for the recovery points. One of the Melbourne based stores had them for $150.

For the early model 120, this is a great solution but as mentioned IF you have a late model 120 ( with the chasis tow loops unit welded through the chasis) they will not fit (without cutting.) with a ARB bar
See page one of this thread.
                              Cheers

Yes, I should have mentioned that!

Below are the pictures of my installation that highlight this:

The vertical yellow eyelets are the TJM sourced recovery points
The vertical bright grey eyelets are the ARB bar tie down point.
The horizontal loops that are the welded to the chassis are the factory tie downs. The location and direction of these are the determining factor.
