Gotta Go Camping - closing down sale

Just thought i'd let everyone know that Gotta Go Camping are closing down and are having a sale with some very good specials.
I'm not sure if they do internet sales or not so it may only be good for those in the area. They are nice people and are prepared to talk deals on anything and everything in the store. It will be a shame to see them go.

Hey James ..thanks for the heads up. Never knew the place existed but decided to make a day of it and go to Caloundra (Kings beach). Popped in and spent @$120 on just bits!! It's a real shame these independents are closing down....there margins just cannot cover the phenomenal increasing costs of running a small business. Soon the world will be run by a few colossal big chains ..aka Coles et al and we'll all wonder where the choice went as we joined all the over "sheeples' ??I've always favoured the 'small guy' but they are becoming increasingly hard to find...although having said that 'micro breweries' are popping up by the dozen in Europe...the trade is impacting the 'middle'/ smaller breweries more.

No worries mate, yes it's a shame when the little guy gets hammered but it's happening everywhere these days. One day there will be no competition for the giants, then they'll really stick it to us.

x2. I'm amazed at how much power the big chains already have. Then we get the line...they're the two biggest ozzie employers in Oz!?? Another fast food chain with drive thru will go in it's place...they're springing up all left, right, centre & all over.

I've been back in there again today...........well actually I've really been back in twice today lol, the owner just laughed at me the second time but it wasn't my fault I forgot about something swmbo wanted oops, I picked up a few more odds & ends. Great value stuff, Today I got just over $600 worth of stuff for $205.

I kind of feel guilty though, it's like I love the bargains but hate profiting from his misfortune as he's a good bloke, today I told him just charge me what's fair mate, you don't need to go overboard with the discounts.
