Rhino Pioneer Roof Platform

I had mine fitted yesterday by TJM Brendale.

Mine is the 42102B with the 6 legs.

TJM removed my existing roof rails and did the install of the Pioneer Rack for $795.

Very happy with the results!

You'll have to excuse my ignorance - I've been looking for a roof basket/platform for some time, and these do look the goods - but, is it just me, or is anyone else in disbelief as to how expensive these things are (roof racks and accessories in general...)?
I mean, really, there's not much to them?

It's their patented aluminum extrusions that are expensive. Well technically they have to add the costs of looking after their design and intellectual property from being copied and sold in this country. Great product though ad if you added up how much it cost to make it yourself including buying the moulded legs from Rhino it would be up there. This offer is a great price if you can pick up from Brisbane or have someone who can pick it up for you.

Thanks for the heads up Brains. Just ordered mine and saved $$$ over both OL and ARB's quotes last week.
FYI - more stock has just been ordered to meet demand.

I don't know about the rest of you, I have been looking & checking what is available
for a few months now. I am more than happy with this deal, & the timing is right for me.
It is going to be used & probably abused for quite a few years hopefully......

No worries Bigben, I know what I paid for mine just prior to our Cape trip and this was a great price when I saw it. So I had to share. If you go to the Brendale store have a look at the Britax LED's they have installed on their 150 Prado's Rhino Pioneer Platform. Its pretty impressive and then blows you away when it gets dark.

Can I fit one of these to my 3 heavy duty bars, do I need to remove the bars from the feet I have and fit it to that OR do I need to buy a new set of feet?

Yep remove bars from feet, use longer bolt that comes in platform kit to hold platform cross rails to feet

Well it took a while, but I had to help out the crew at TJM Brendale, seeing they are moving up, down, wherever, to better visual location.
They didn't want to move more that they have to.
They asked if I would like my platform fitted, (where does the time go) well how could I refuse.
I went there yesterday & now have a new platform fitted, & yes I'm a happy camper, all looks great, very friendly staff & a job well done

Brains was that your Prado I was looking at out the front, was checking out shovel mounting bracket.
Is that a Rhino bracket for the shovel clamp or is it your own ??
I do like the new wheels on your rig, it all looks good.

I will hopefully post a build set of photos soon, a few things there now & just about where I want her.
Another awesome BLUE machine.

I don't know, but this is exactly what I needed & it JUST fits in the carpark,
Just have to load top outside, oh well.....shit happens
