    GME RCK3600 Remote Head Installation

    This is the remote head, after some debate, I opted to punch a hole though one of the blanking plates for the remote cable - hole is bigger than it when the cable is through to allow for the RJ45 lead.




    Moved the now headless TX3800 to passenger side kick panel - hopefully isn't an issue with SWMBO and my girls, as they don't have long legs!



    And some hook Velcro for the mic, now attaches to dashmat:

        I was a bit worried about passing the cabling though, as I had seen some other builds where the whole dash was "disassembled" - I was lucky that all I had to do was remove the two console kick panels and remove one screw for the passenger side kick panel (the one under the glove box).

        In all let's say an hour and half to move it from the side of the driver's seat to where it is now. Re-routing the cabling took the longest!

                              I've done both But I am going up to work as, well whatever is required. Friday Setup, Saturday....see what the powers that be have planned. Eldest likes looking at the road book and me doing my best to explain the navigation to her. If nothing else, we miss the Hobart show!

                                Sunday's out for me - work function on the Saturday, afternoon and night (last year we took the pop-top so didn't have to drive) so probably won't be in too good a shape to travel much.
