    Ryback's Ride

    My girls call it "Yoda"...



    Pre bullbar - size comparison to the mini that I was driving.

    Rhino Rack

    Rhino Rack was in pretty tough shape from previous owners



    But with some cheap "scotch bright" pads and Aluminum polish came up a treat.

          Hi cfryback -good to see another Tassie build up on here, especially a 6 speed d4d. Great vehicle.

              FlowMaster 100 30 Micron Diesel Filter Water Separator - installed today! Reasonably straight forward.

                I think the later model D4D's had a different type of injectors put into them, so hopefully I won't suffer the same fate...

                  Yeah to do with the seals - not the "O" rings - mine had the original copper ones - now running with Baileys Injectors. Almost hardly tell it is diesel now.

                    Prado in its natural setting, though I thought from the muck I was driving in she would be dirtier!

                      Rear Window/Door LED Strip

                      Just installed today. What a @#$ running the wires through the rubber sleeve/boots from the door to the body. Didn't take a picture - I was busy cussing! Long and short, made a surgical incision in the boot past the seal, fed a zip tie through, taped wires on to zip tie and gently pulled through. I opted for the connection to the rear plug that is on the second battery, as it was much easier to get to!

                      Here's the result:

                        End result looks good - This has been in my too hard basket due to the wire-feeding difficulty, and I think the rear lights on my roof cage may suit my requirements now, if angled down.

                        How did you get the wires under the door lining? Did you manage to remove it? I have already broken one clip, and decided not to try any more in case I broke more.

                          Yeah, I "bent" one of the plastic tabs on the side panel...reattaching!

                          Main door panel was fairly easy, just took my time - I did have a look and thought that after the three door screws and pulling the top out a bit that it would just "push down", but I "gently" pried them out.
