Reveiw on Baileys injectors.. Whats your thoughts

I supported baileys, we thought they had the DLC advantage & good warranty.
I remove old posts that may think I support them, things changed.

I must admit I'm a little confused, so is its just the brass washers on the Baileys that are the problem and if so, if you were to use Denso washers instead you'd be OK? My son is looking at Baileys after reading stuff on here but if there is more to it than the washers it would be good to know. I must admit, I haven't paid a lot of attention to this issue as I have a 90 series and my son only gets on here occasionally so between us we may have missed something.

My thoughts:
If brass could flex & squash to seal, it might last longer than copper.
But it has been proven many times over the brass is not flex/squash to seal.

Great work to Toyota engineers, the average life of a genuine coated washer is 200,000klms
When installed just as good or better than factory.

No we would still cover the R+R costs (within reason) of faulty injectors (if our fault) regardless of who fitted them / who is replacing them.

This set presented blowing smoke, rattling bad - even hot, using about 30lt per 100k.
Been in just over a year/14,000k

Suspect it may be blowby, so the brass washers were replaced. No change.
Diagnostic points towards #4 but within spec.
Now they have been removed & sent back for assessment. #4 is looking guilty. Check it out.

Im told baileys confirmed a big issue with #4, they fixed it, were going to send them back.
Our client wanted new Injectors, so he paid an amount for those new DENSO set. Not sure of the deal.
He Only just got the replacements yesterday, got it back together & he is very happy with the results & how quiet it is.

Had another clients vehicle last week with bdg's playing up & those were also found faulty.
The Injectors were replaced. Not sure yet about the labour part.

So it seems you can get the bdg injectors themselves replaced or repaired when they fail.
