I've been busy on the rig for a while now, and plenty to post up. thought I better use my 100'th post for this!

Here is my Engine Watchdog install, very easy and very handy. I went for the one with AT Temp, Engine Temp and Oil Pressure sensor alarm.

Feeding 3 sensors into engine bay


coat hanger pvc tape pull trick again..


out thru a new little hole in the boot (getting tight will all the other stuff)


Mounted sensor to thermostat, seems easy way out but I measured temps here and back of the block and they were the same _/+ 3 degrees


Mounted sensor to A/T housing


Ran the cable away from exhaust, Ive since moved it again. was getting too hot.


Had to splice into Oil Temp pressure plug thing (eek)


Power off Cig or similar +, mounted under steering wheel and we are away.

I stared mounting up the tent and awning, what a pain in the ass it was... the tent track needed to be modified to fit within the Rhino platform channels but once that was done it wasnt too hard. A set of those ratcheting spanners is a godsend when working under the rack.

The brackets I made/had made were really good in theory buy my measurements didn't allow enough clearance for the bolts so I had to re-drill and modify with the file.. took me 2 hours longer than it should...

Where the ARB RTT track needs to sit between the channels (to make contact with cross bars)


Re-drilled 2/4 holes to reposition the track.


Also bought a Rhino spacecase from bunnings for $248, really good product and price 1200 x 400 x 550 from memory. But I think I'll return it, its just a bit too big with the tent on and too high (big windbreak) I'm going to aim for something with about 350mm max height and less overhang at the front

Added a new battery and re-wired and extended some cables, now the Aux is getting more charge so a wise move.

I have been lazy updating this but here are the pics for my finished drawers and electrical system.

2 high drawers with a fridge slide on the left, ended up using a patio bolt under to secure it when traveling.
also put a 20lt water (with another spare) on a pump so I can pump water from one to the other or from an external source
I also have an inline water purifier so this is handy for areas where water is a bit dodgy


This is my switch block with circuit breakers for Fridge, Inverter, water pump, LEDS along top of cargo barrier, and external camp, awning and RTT LED lights, the loom for all these goes to a fuse box on the other side of the barrier with a 240 power board.


each side has wings for storing the inverter, hoses, oil, coolant etc.




Fuse block behind rear seats, loop runs under the wheel arch plastic and into the little compartment where the switch block is.
Looks a bit dodgy here but its all tucked away and insulated now.
