Stolen - Drifta Roller Draws

Hi All

Had a bit of bad news this morning. Some low life broke into our storage shed complex that has our camper trailer and all of our camping / 4wd recovery gear that mostly sat in our Drifta Roller Draws. Police and insurance notified however I believe it will be a battle to claim this.

If anyone sees, is offered any really cheap recovery gear, camping gear, generator or a set of very unique Drifta roller draws and a ARB fridge slide installed on the left hand side please let me know. List so far is about $6000 grand worth of our camping gear and 4wd gear stolen that my wife and I built up over 11 years! Lucky they did not get the camper, it was locked and I have the hitch on my car...

Maybe I'm naive but it sounds ike you were targeted, I wouldn't have thought 4WD drawers would be at the top of the list of things for thieves. Will keep an eye out netherless.

They got a lot of gear, just not the draws - most if our camping gear. Cut the locks on all the storage boxes on our camper etc.

The storage company supplied the locks and keys however this time round I will be supplying them. 4 other sheds out of 80 had also been broken into and in my opinion it was not random, they knew what they were getting. It's only been in there 8 weeks and I have been there 3 times and from what I can tell no one saw me and saw what was in our shed. In my opinion it's an inside job and I made sure that I expressed my concerns to both the managers and police.

To say that I am pissed is an understatement. The battle with our insurance company begins, if they stile the camper with everything in it / on it would have been so much easier to claim. Today is not a good day.

In saying that my wife and I have been married 7 years today... They picked good date to do it, now I really won't forget the date.

I feel for you Daniel. We got back from a trip to the Prom last week to find we'd been robbed too. They took some tools, pool stuff, 10 slabs (beer & softdrinks) & get this 2 frozen legs of pork roast from the freezer.
Our house is on a corner with laneway at side & rear. A neighbour saw this guy walking around back of our house in laneway to other laneway where he'd left car blocking it & said sorry & that he was moving it straight away. This was in broad daylight! This bugger has come back to load up again & got away.
To add insult I didn't report straight away as I thought folks had come in & taken the stuff for our party & as we were going away for another few days, I didn't ask them until we got back from a 2nd trip a couple of days ago. Police have now said any evidence is now compromised
