  • Great, thanks for the clarification Andrew.

One last thing before I arrange payment. I presume that, even though the CKMA12 is more cramped on the mk2 bracket, the is enough room to connect front/rear diff lockers (eventually) as well as a quick connect fitting for inflating tyres?

    Regards,
    Justin.

Let me check with ARB to be sure but there is a minimum clearance of 60mm for the solenoids.

No problem with room for the tyre inflation connection.

      • Hi All,
without me reading all 16 pages of this thread, can someone please give me a quick answer on whether the bracket will fit a 2014 V6 GXL ? I'm thinking not from what I've read so far. If this is the case, has anyone mounted an onboard air compressor anywhere else in a facelift petrol model ?

        Thanks

            • The V6 from '05 or '06 has an extra large charcoal canister. If there is room to move it forward, there might be a possibility after fitting an offset bracket for the charcoal canister.

Up until now, I have not been able to see the engine bay of a V6 apart from mine which is one of the earlier models.

              • amts, the charcoal canister is hard up against the fuse box so no chance of moving it forward.
do you want me to get you any photos of the 2014 V6 engine bay ?

That's a bugger. Yes pictures would be helpful. Emailing them might be easier???

                  • Has anyone had a look at mounting an air tank under the car? If so, any suggestions on where to mount it? Kinda looking to avoid the chassis rails in case I wanna mount rock sliders, but I did notice a fair gap between the sub tank and the tow bar (but no mount points).

                    • Both brackets are now available, although I'm in short supply of the switch bracket.
