        • So, these definitely will not fit a Facelift 150, as there is a relay box mounted in this position. (Useless in a GXL, theres bloody no relays in there)

The relay box needs to be relocated, more like tucked under the bracket. The bracket holding the relay box will also need to be removed.

I have a bracket going to a Facelift 150 owner this week to confirm whether it fits or not.

Awaiting news/photos! I'm fine with relocating the useless box, just don't want it flapping around!

              • I'm the lucky one the bracket is on the way too. Will post news as soon as I get it and fit it, it'll fit, just gotta work out how much has to be moved around

                • Just had to relocate the empty relay box, all is good.
Removed relay box from metal bracket, zip tied relay box to underside of wiring loom against fire wall. Removed metal bracket from firewall and threw into spare parts pile. I probably wouldn't do this if I had a VX or Kakadu though, with the bracket fitted the relay box is impossible to access, however, it will fit fine if you are happy with having the relay box inaccessible.
Everything else is as per AMTS's great instructions, excellent fit and the wife even said it looks factory.

                  • With thanks to AussieAndy, the good news is that the bracket fits. Here are the photos:

The relay box needs to be removed from its bracket and relocated as per the photo. The bracket for the relay box needs to be removed as well.

                    • Hi Andrew, I installed your mk2 bracket on the weekend . Congratulations on a well engineered product. Your instructions were straight forward and very easy to follow. It took me longer to move the battery isolator and rust protection than to install your bracket.I have included some pictures and am extremely happy with you product.
                      Cheers Matt

                            • Hi there,

I am new to the world of Prados and 4x4s. I've bought a CKMA12 to go in my Grande with v6 4.0L and want to get one of these brackets to make it all neat.
I am trying to figure out if I need a mk1 or mk2 bracket. Is the fuel filter that the mk2 bracket allows for just for diesels or is this something I should be factoring in for a future improvement? Also, does it come with mounting bolts or perhaps a list of what I need to get?

Forgive my noviceness. There is so much to pickup from this great site, my head is about to explode.

                              Justin.

                                Hi Justin,
Welcome to the site. Hope you've got deep pockets.

Here's how the brackets fit into various vehicles
                                • Mk1 and Mk2 brackets fits on all 120 and 150 diesel (1KZ and 1KD/D4D) Prados and only the early model 120 V6 with the smaller charcoal canister (2003-2004 model year).

Here's what fits onto the brackets:
                                • Mk1 bracket will take CKMA12 (under bonnet) and CKMP12 (portable) compressors
                                • Mk2 bracket will take CKMA12 (as is), CKMP12 (requires conversion kit from ARB) and TJM (requires new legs) compressors
                                • Mk2 bracket will take Racor 230R (as is) and FM100 (requires adaptor bracket) aftermarket fuel filters
                                • Mk2 bracket will take Ctek D250S instead of an air compressor. Fuel filter will still fit alongside the D250S.
                                • Optional switch bracket will fit onto the Mk1 and Mk2 brackets. The cutout on the switch bracket will take ARB style rocker switches. The switch bracket is not required for Mk1 + CKMP12 as the portable compressor already has the switch attached.

There is nothing further that you will need to fit the accessories to the brackets. The fasteners to fit the bracket into the engine bay, and the accessories to the bracket are provided.

I have the Mk2 fitted into my V6. The space that is for the fuel filter will be reserved to mount some of my future dual battery kit like the isolator and fuseblocks.
