Thats a fair increase. No wonder it looks like a lot more clearance.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should make the jump, but thought bugger it, gotta give it a go.

So what has that done to your speedo? How far out is it now?
Checked speedo on GPS, at 110 on the speedo the actual speed is 113, so I can live with that (wife wouldn't slow down for a 100km/h check)

      • well that's not too bad then is it. my 120 reads perfect at 100km/h with standard tyres on it. gonna get muddies next time and have to go up to a 70 profile which is gonna make it read a bit high. shame theres nothing we can do about it.
        Cheers

        • Probably make mine read right, I'm about 8km/h hour out on my 265/65 - by my GPS.

              • Got the UVP fitted today - and realised how beat-up the factory ones were.

                • How did you go with the instructions?

You will enjoy the new protection for your private parts .

                  • I eventually worked out the instructions - which weren't too bad in most parts (just some bits had me swearing...)

The protection will be good, make me feel much safer about my bits down there.

                    • Finally installed my RAM mount for my iPad into the Prad, so I can actually use HEMA while driving. It served me well when I had it in my brother's hilux for our Canning / Kimberley trip.

the ironman up is similar and when I first had a look I didn't know how it worked either. You will be surprised how scratched it gets. I just had to bend mine all back together as the middle one has copped a beating but that means its doing its job.

Agree, much rather bend the uvp back into shape than have to deal with what would have happend to stock stuff
