A few pics of what I did to fit a Racor second fuel filter to my D4D. Seems to work a treat. Pretty good cheap insurance for any water and dirt problems.
The bracket came from Mitre 10 and the bolt holes matched up on both legs of the bracket with the filter and with the bolt holes in the side of the engine bay. Just had to drill out the holes to take an 8mm bolt. Also removed and reversed the bracket holding the large rubber tube adjacent on the fire wall. Bent the filter attachment leg to suit and that was that. Primed easily and no leaks. Used thread tape but sealant. Just have to remove now to paint the bracket and it's completed.
