Hey guys,
just installed a GME 3520 UHF in the rig today and thought i would share my experience.
Was a bit nervous about it as I haven't done anything like this before, I was one of the "too hard basket" kind of guys. But after a little tuition from the old boy, got it done and looks smick. Took a bit of time, but was actually quite easy and thanks to all the info here on PP, went off without a hitch.
Would just like to thank all the people who post there build ups, with pics, to show us noobs it is not that hard (and save a heap of cash to spend on more toys). Don't know if i would have to patience to stop and take a photo every 5 mins.
Also if you are thinking about giving it a go yourself, do it. You might have to spend a little cash initially to buy the tools needed ie. soldering iron, crimping tools etc, but the next time you go to do it there all still there.
Will post some pics asap.
Cheers
