  • Hey Guys,
I openly admit my service has been up to shit earlier this year and for that I apologise. I have been working 3 jobs and raising a 1 year old hasnt giving me alot of time to be selling these things the way I want to so in short I have been to knackered. I am now only working 4 days a week as I am putting this business higher up my priority list.

In returning and in a sort of cease fire I will reduce the price to pradopoint members to for the rest of July to $200 delivered. I have a whole heap of new software making this job easier so I endeavor to get your invoices and product to you asap. I am only selling the blue display module with p1, p2, eco and off as these are the best allround unit for price. We have found that the p3 mode was ridiculously to touchy and we hated using it.

Once again my apologies for what transpired in the past and hope you can understand the situation.

In my opinion, its one of the best bang for buck u can spend..... I've had one on for a few years now and it's been great..... but it did play up once when we were in cold climate out in central Australia. I found that Cruise Control would not work & it wouldn't go into Overdrive. I found I had to stop, turn off the engine then restart and I would have no worries until the next morning. I did find if I had it on the top setting, it worked ok.... So i put it down to the cold climate as it has never happened again.... waiting to do our next cold climate trip to verfy if it plays up again.....
Not sure if the NEW model windbooster is any different though.....

          • After receiving a pm asking for my details, I responded with my details a couple of times now but with no reply.

Any others in the same boat?

              • Can any one explain why you would want one of these? All it seems to do is change the scale of the TPS, from full range to part range, closing the gap between each increment, giving the impression of more performance, but really just making the throttle overly sensitive.

In other words, you'll reach full throttle by half peddle travel instead of full, why wouldn't someone just pouch the pedal further for free?

This is what I found out from digging on the interwebs. Will put that money towards other goodies. I quite happy with the standard throttle.

                    • Mate.... That's exactly what I thought...... until a mate let me borrow his to give it a trial so I could make up my mine one way or the other..... It didn't take long to know that this was a winner for me..... instant response, not having to push down hard on the pedal to get the vehicle to get up and go....All I can say is if u know someone with one, that ask to borrow it and then make your own mind up from there..... For me, it was a no brainer...... Far more flexible in response and u have the adjustments at your hand as well....... To me, I don't think u will be disappointed, but it's a personal thing I guess.....

This is a very fair and reasonable statement - You are saying "I like it. Try it yourself. You may like it too" can't argue with that

I'm sure that people enjoy their WB experience but at the end of the day this product does nothing for you that you cannot do for yourself by being more assertive on the accelerator pedal.

When I drive I press the pedal to give me the throttle position (between idle and WOT) that gives me the engine output that I desire. Point is that I choose the output I want - then position the pedal to suit.

What would a WB do for me? It means that I press the pedal 1cm less to get the output that I am shooting for.. SO WHAT!!

                          • Installed my wind booster today. Quick and easy to install.

I realise all that it is doing is in effect pressing the pedal harder for me. The sensation of extra power is quite satisfying in the sense that the car responds to much lighter pedal input. I feel it gets rid of the lag as well.

I'll probably have it in Eco mode most of the time. It really dulls out throttle and should help reduce consumption. Don't have to drive it like there is an egg under the pedal to save fuel.

                            • Will be interested to hear how u go as to whether u save any fuel or not..... unfortunately for me, the missus likes the quick response of being able to quickly pull out in oncoming traffic .... I've only tried the ECO setting when touring as this is the only time I really get to drive it for long periods of time....

                              • I find it ironic buying a windBOOSTER only to use the Eco setting for fuel efficiency. My model didn't come with eco mode anyhow, P2 on full all the time. I found P3 to be a little too much.
