  • SEQLD- Daytrip to City View 4WD Park - 18th Nov 2012

I feel like the SEQ daytrip social secretary nowadays ;-) But it is that time again, so NEXT Sunday I am doing a day trip down to CityView 4wd Park. Be great to meet some new faces and catch up with some old ones. The park is only about 1hour 15minutes from Brisbane CBD and has a mix of all different types of tracks. http://www.cityview4wd.com/index.html

    Date: Sunday 18th of November.
    UHF: Channel 16
Time: Leave Brisbane at 7.30ish. For arrival about 8.45-9.00. Suggest we meet there.
    Location: CityView 4wd Park
Swan Gully Road, Bromelton QLD 4285
Take 3rd exit off round about & follow the red arrows.
    http://www.cityview4wd.com/contact-us.html
    Ph :0438 0438 71 if lost
Cost: The park charges $35 (per vehicle) for the day to use their park. Take cash as they don’t accept cards
Weather: I spoke to them today and it is all good this weekend and no major events. If the weather dramatically changes we will re-assess.
    Google Maps: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Swan+G...ralia&t=m&z=10
Details: The plan is to spend the morning exploring their tracks, then a nice relaxed lunch (BYO food, drink and water). Then an afternoon back on the tracks. The tracks have everything from mild to extreme, so there is something for everybody there. Similar to the day trip I did at ScenicRim.
I imagine we would finish up around 5.00pm or so and be back in Brisbane around 6.00pm

Of course, the usual trip disclaimer applies:
PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER BELOW; IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO AGREE TO THE TERMS SET OUT THEREIN THEN PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND. THIS INCLUDES PRADOPOINT MEMBERS & THEIR FAMILIES & FRIENDS!

I'm dead keen but I'll need to convince the wife that 4wding is more important than nippers. I'm not sure I'll win that battle.

          Hi Rob

I'm taking my boy and couple of his mates camping that weekend (always seems to be the case of late whenever there is a PP gathering) so can't make it but look forward to the reports.

Was planning a family day trip to Straddie for Sunday but as they don't do the cheap Sunday fares any more, will give it a miss and we can now come to CityView. See you Sunday if the weather holds out OK.

                              Rob,

Should have my new spacer on too.

I usually make a quick pit-stop at Macers Beaudesert (114-120 Brisbane Street Beaudesert) so the little ones can go to the WC and I get an average coffee to wake me up lol. Just putting it out there for those that may wish to do the same.

                              See all Sunday.
