First Tutorial post ever - Reviving a very old thread here in hopes people are still improving their 90s and this will assist.
First off, all of your comments were extremely helpful. I looked for the firewall grommet from inside the passenger side for a solid hour before admitting defeat and heading to Pradopoint. I hope the attached album will help likeminded weekend garage warriors.
Ive included all pics in the album below - upload limits were killing me!

Summary:
- Found the Firewall Grommet, ran cables through alongside of the seal without puncturing. Ill go back and seal this properly another weekend once the Lights, dual battery and compressor are installed.
- Connected directly to the battery so as to use when the car is turned off
- Mounted Aerial and ran cable into cabin
- Removed ashtray and bracket, installed UHF in its place. I had to remove the entire faceplate and trim some plastic so the bolts holding the UHF into the bracket could be tightened. I couldn't mount the bracket (top mount) AND have the UHF secured at the same time, was an either or...out came the sharp tools.
- Installed the Mic clip
- Put it all back together
Equipment:
Bullbar Mounting Bracket from Supercheap (same as this https://www.telcoantennas.com.au/sit...unting-bracket)
GME TX 3100 from Prestige Communications (http://www.prestigecom.net.au/gme-el...channel-uhf-cb)
AerPro CBA2T1 UHF 4.5 DBI Aerial (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/onl...ecommendations)
Blood, Sweat and Tears
