Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado
Sooooo jealous. Looks like it was a ball and great news that there was not too much major damage done.
Will definitely have to try and get to Vic for next years GTG.
Well at least it has been nice and peaceful around here with all the trouble makers in SA for the last 12 days

Well after nearly a year of planning and many meetings and countless emails back and forth the committee has managed to pull off another succesful Pradopoint GTG. With 36 vehicles and 80 odd people in attendance it was a huge effort on the part of the committee to get everyone where they needed to be, through the tracks and back to camp each night without any major incidents.
Great tracks, great poeple, great views, lots of laugh, and sabotage by other groups became the norm alomost every day! Large amounts of wood in front of a gate that was also tied with many cable ties was just one example of the dastardly behaviour exhibited by some of the attendees as they tried to confuse and delay others following behind. All was in good humour and the offenders all paid the price around the campfire each night making a donation to the RFDS during out nightly "fines session" which I think was one of the absolute highlights of the trip. We might start another thread just to talk about the fines, but suffice to say it was hillarious every night and all those attending got right onto the spirit of the fines session.
Anyway enough talk, here are a few pictures to kick things off. This was pretty early on on day one through a spot some of us on the committee affectionaltly refer to as "wheelstand alley"
Once I showed them the line everyone in our group had to get a wheel up!
How is it that you're the ONLY one who didn't like their pie??? Like AJ said ... blatant pie snobbery. The RFDS will be happy to accept the fine you received for it!!
