Bump.... I'm still experiencing this intermittent fault with my Front Cam. Quite annoying actually. If I leave the Cam switched on the image never flips. But I am finding that the image is flipping more often than not and it doesn't always change back first time. Sometimes it will take 4 or 5 times to power off and then back on. Almost as if there is some kind of power fluctuation on start up that causes the Cam image to flip. Any ideas would be appreciated...2004 V6 Grande. BLACK - -

My little cam has already just well and truly paid for itself when we were out 4wding on the weekend and having a bit of a play in a small quarry where I headed up over a short steep hill with a severe ramp over. Whilst all I could see blue sky as I went over, in clear view of the cam was a massive sawn off tree halfway across the track. Had I not of seen this, or one of the other lads have gone over first, serious damage could have occurred.
$37 well spent I'd say....2004 V6 Grande. BLACK -Comment

Actually I noticed the other day that DigOptions have a Black box recorder ( DVR Blackbox Recorder ) for $99. Continuous loop capture with Continuous recording / Motion detect etc...2004 V6 Grande. BLACK -Comment

I finally installed mine Craig..
I picked up one of those grille badge style cameras and installed it onto the front bar. Potentially it could get knocked around, but for less than $30 i'm willing to take the risk
It's also offset to the left but works fine..

been thinking about one of these as an upgrade too the 2008 120 grande screen... what has been your experience with the headunit - spec'd up with front and back parking sensors the dvr unit, tire pressure sensors, front cam its about $1100.00
Suppose the first question is is it worth the upgrade from the standard grande to this Dig option unit - the other bits are addons!!

Not really... It must be due to the fact that I'm grabbing the 12v off the winch control power in the solenoid box. I will need to find a new home for my camera soon though as I am upgrading to a Runva 11XP and the solenoid box wont have room to accommodate the camera. So I will re-run the power of a more reliable source which will hopefully solve my upside down image issueOriginally posted by J Janke View Post2004 V6 Grande. BLACK -Comment
