'Estate' Bullbar Mounting issues

Hi guys.

I bought an estate bullbar originally from a prado 90 series which had been fitted to a landcruiser 100 series, which means that the mounts don't fit the prado anymore. Measuring the distance between the outside face on the chassis rails (with the 3 mounting bolts) and the mounts on the bar shows that some serious work would be needed to get it to fit.

Does anyone have photos of the correct brackets/mounts?

Would anyone be able to take dimensions as well to accomodate easier fabrication?

Can these mounts be bought seperately from toyota?

Yeah, old mate I bought it off said it was about two inches too narrow on either side.

If want help a bit more info may help, I have never heard of a estate bar?? So maybe some photos might help? Were r u located might also help. Have u contacted Toyota spares at all to ask them questions about parts??

It's the standard toyota alloy bar. The good looking ones.

G'day, I fitted a second hand one recently, too cold right now to take pics of the installed mounts but the attached is as I received the bar initially. The bloke I bought them off forgot the second, more solid mounts and they came a bit later.

When it arrived initially without all the mounts I did ask toyota, the parts rep could not find anything alas. 10 years old is vintage to toyota parts dept!

It blinged up ok in the end! Those mounts are pretty solid too and the ones initially missing come with built in tie downs or recovery points (but lets not go there).

I will try to take pics of the lower mounts tomorrow and post them up.

EDIT: Added some pics of the two mounts together, night shots not great. the lower mount uses the bolts that usually hold recovery/tie down points and then curves around the inside of the rails and up to join the other mount on the bar itself.
