Why do you undo the air sensor bolts instead of unplugging it?

The 95s are starting to get old now so if you can get around undoing a plastic plug you do. The tags just love to break off on the old stuff, and that's a general comment there Malcom. With that sensor there, it is just easier to undo the two 10mm bolts and plug the hose that comes off the front on the intercooler. Once again prevention is better than the cure.
Gee, working on the 80 series now has become a bit trickey because all the plastic components are getting brittle. Bit like me really, getting old and fragile.

Thats a great run down on how to do that Roo... i was looking at the Racor you recommended - 230R I think... It looks like a tight fit on the 120 next to the OE fuel filter with out making some kind of bracket. 8 1/2 inches from the hole centers to the bottom of the water drain valve... just about size for size if I was to use the existing captive nuts... geez them racors are pricey too... I might have a look at the sakura or alike.

Thats the one Roo, I found that seller on ebay before and they are happy to supply it with the 30 micron filter...It will be an easy fit all bar the fact that I have installed me ARB compressor in that spot..

I know I need a pre filter and Im running out of time... In reality the Air compressor is gonna come out and the filter will go in... I may have to mount the compressor behind the back seat on the back wall of the drawers I think...

If I get the filter installed, I could drill the holes to mount the compressor and finish off the install on the road when Ive got a couple hours to spare...

I think thats the only way i will get everything done!! ***NO TIME FOR SLEEP***
