On the ARB website there is no difference in the pics from a Deluxe winch bar and non winch bar. Can iassume they are all winch bars but one has a plate covering the hole?
I got a price today and there is about $100 difference in the bars so am wondering if it is just better to get the winch bar and leave options open later for me or next buyer.
Is $1866 fitted for winch bar colour coded alright? Was hoping for end of year less than 2k for the bar and snorkel fitted. Again I have no earlier prices to really go on so was hoping some of you might throw some prices out there so I get an idea. Or is this against the rules?

The winch bar obviously has the hole in the front and it also has some extra bracing that the non winch bar doesn't. If you have any thoughts that you may want a winch in the future the go the winch bar, its not an easy job to modify a non winch bar at a later date.

        Andrew,

Yeah ta for info. I have no plans for a winch but someone mentioned to me it may be good for resale if it has the option. I think I will lean towards no winch and keep the price down.

Or throw a post in the wanted section for a non winch bar, there is a good chance a member has one but would really like a winch bar, it might be a way for you save a dollar and someone else to upgrade. Just a thought

Here's my 2003 with ARB Sahara bar. Came fitted as only accessory when purchased. Would never buy one if your keen about off road, not enough protection and no way to install scrub bars.

All going well I'll have a shiny new TJM T13 winch bar fitted in the next month or so to replace my Powerful 4x4 bar that I've got on there now... too big, too heavy and with the TJM bar the TJM winch (that I won on the QLD GTG &#128521 will fit better.

Hi GXL05 , just wondering what brand of mounts you are using on your led bar. I need to source something similar as my bar has 2 mounts underneath , not on the sides and would prefer to mount it to top bar to leave room for spots in future

                    +1 for interest!

Does anyone know if ARB are able to weld on extra antenna tabs to the bar for you? Would like to think that if I'm paying them near $2000 for a bar, they could do that much for the purpose of mounting extra gear and not needing aftermarket bull bar mounts?

                    Cheers,

                    • Hey SandStorm. I realised yesterday when I went to hold my light bar in position to see how it looked on the top bar that ARB don't weld rear facing tabs on otherwise the bonnet won't open . There is about a 22mm gap between bar & bonnet when opening.

I did prefer mine up there so if I ever got spots I wouldn't have to shift it. There seems to be a few mounts around that fix to the side of light bars but my fixing is on the bottom. The only mounts I have found would have the tags in front of the bar which isn't ideal so I thought GXL05 type is ideal being vertical. I may have look at ironman to see if this is a universal mount or light specific otherwise I'll mount it on top of the lower bar and worry about it later if I get spots.
                      Cheers Matt

Nice bar fitted on your 120, I am interested in ironman new lift bar for 150 but I heared that ironman is another lump of steel from thailand with poor finish. Is it true on your bar?
