Hi Folks
Late notice but a day drive planned for Sunday. The intent is for a drive from Helidon at the base of the range up through the forests to Hampton (part of this is in the Dirty Weekends drive #20) then across the main road up through some more forests to end up around the Benarkin area. From there back on the bitumen (blatant waste of taxpayers money) home.
We haven't done this trip so a lot of the trip will be exploring but I expect that with the wet weather lately it will be mainly gravel roads with the odd "that looks like an interesting track". There will be plenty of opportunity to peel off for home if its getting late as we will cross the main roads several times.
Start will be at Helidon Post Office, Turner St on Sunday at 8.15 for an 8.30 departure. If anybody has any knowledge of this area we are all ears for suggestions. Look for Richo's white 150, Stewy's silver 120 and Craigs black 120. We'll be on channel 16 to start with.
