Hi All

I have owned my 150 D4D auto since Oct 2011 and a lot has changed since I picked it up so thought it was time to post a progress report.

Fresh from the dealer


First mod was 2inch TJM gold lift and polyairs

Very happy with the comfort provided by the XGS lift and the polyairs. Also the polyairs provide that bit of extra flexibility for towing heavy loads or even when the car is fully loaded with gear. Provides sucj a comfortable ride. Although my previous rig was a suzuki grand vitara so I don't have much to compare it to

At the same time I had T13 bull bar, GME remote head 80 channel uhf and X-ray Hid's fitted.




After reading some of the negative feedback regarding the painted plastic infills, I ended up going with the bumper cut option, and I am very happy with the result.

Other accesories include a genuine toyota towbar and an ironman awning. Also picked up a hitch receiver recovery point from super cheap (still haven't used it yet but it looks strong) and a cheap boot mat from clark rubber (much cheaper then toyota genuine).

On my wishlist
-dual battery system,
- fridge and fridge slide
- underbody protection
- camper trailer

I have found the X-ray hid's to be brilliant so far. I have to drive home on a road that is notorious for roos and they have saved my bacon on 3 occasions!

Thanks Rob, yeah I am happy with the decision to go with TJM, the suspension has done 11,000 so far and going well!

After taking out one of the kids seats on the weekend and seeing how much crap was left behind on the seat I finally bit the bullet today and ordered front & middle row seat covers from supertrim. Should be here Tues next week so I will post some pics then. Cost $495 delivered.

What's the height to the highest point of the rails after the lift?????????????????

I'm assuming you mean to the highest point of the roof rails? If this is what you are after its 201cm. Keep in mind though its a bit higher when you first get it done. I have done 35k since getting the lift so it has settled down a bit.
When I first got it done the clearance on the roller door was mm!

Chewy, that bumper cut should be a good 20mm off the bar otherwise u will get rubbing, yours looks too close in the photo's.

Thanks Hutch I had never bothered measuring before but always thought it was a bit close. It's just 20mm, looks closer than it is though because tjm put a thick piece of rubber all the way around.
It's my own fault it's so close because I told them I didn't like the look of a big gap. Oh well not much I can do now.
