I am planning to explore more of the Tracks behind Ormeau on Sunday April 1st. Here's the chance for some of the 150 owners to test out their new underbody protection! Historically the trips have started at the end of Vennor Drive at the Water tower, however another suggestion is to enter via Upper Ormeau Road.

Track Difficulty: Tracks will range from Easy through to Moderate. With some challenging bits in between, with varying surfaces ranging from a large rocky section to dirt bush tracks across the top of the ranges and some hard packed shale on the most of the slopes making it safe if the tracks are damp. Due to the nature of a couple of sections on these tracks, a lifted Prado is recommended however can be negotiated with care.
Weather: Hey it's Qld! We'll assess the weather if and when it happens and make a decision accordingly
Meeting Place: Vennor Drive Water Resevoir. An early start is preferable - 8:30am, departing at 8:45am. This is a reasonably short but fun trip which I would expect having us depart the scene early afternoon.
What to Bring: Prado, morning tea, water/drinks, air compressor / recovery gear, UHF. (I will have a couple of spare hand helds if required)
