Was happy with the stock 150 when I bought it new but have added a few bits & pieces so thought it would be worthy of a buildup thread.. Also lots of useful information I have got from this forum..Thxs !

Things I've added are:
ARB Deluxe winch bar in black (without the winch)
Hella 500ff spotties which I converted to Hid 55w
Gme tx3340 UHF radio
BF Goodrich A/T
Piranha dual battery tray
Projecta dual battery controller
Tekonsha P3 brake controller
Larger prado mudflaps thanks to Toyota warranty.
Jayco outback camper trailer

Thanks! Can't think of anything else I need to do now as in a few weeks time I'll be heading to Uluru & central australia via the oodnadatta track / lake ayre.

Well after 30,000 Kim driving around Australia I think I better upgrade the shocks & spring,. I don't need the lift just something that can support the arb bar & dual batteries... Think I'll go with the bilsteins & king springs..

Does anyone know if the shocks for the 120 are the same as the 150 prados...

Got my bilstein 5100 shocks & king spring standard height springs.. There're now installed & much better ride than stock suspension.

Although you may not 'need' the lift, any other reason you didn't take the opportunity to put one in at the time?

Thanks... Actually it did give me a 20mm lift on what I had before.. Before the front/rear were 74cm/79cm now it's 76cm/82cm. Main reason is I want to get in the garage with roof racks on & also to stop the Mrs complaining its too high..

Yes veezee it's much better..the handling & braking have improved a lot, it doesn't float around like before... I haven't taken it off road or dirt roads since but I'd say it would be better in that area also... It's a bit harsher over speed humps but nothing to worry about..cheers

Hi, just joined. I would like to say your upgrade on the suspension looks real interesting, do you have any technical or serial details of the springs? Also, how does the ride compare to say a discovery ?
