Hi Guys,

I have been lurching in the forums waiting for my rig to arrive since August 2011.
Finally took delivery on the beats late Jan 2012.



Mod 1
Went straight to the tyre shop and put on some Cooper LTZ Zeons 18' 285's so far they are great

Any chance of a photo of the Tyres & how close they are to the upper control arm.

I am thinking of 285's in 17"

Hi Greg,

Its hard to tell in the pic but is that the 7" Multi Touch Screen Sat Nav you have in your car? Ive ordered a VX last week and my dealer isn't sure whether it will be specced with this option as standard in a MY12.

Hi M,

Yeah its the Touch Screen, the MY12 in the VX Come with that Standard now, with a price increase of around 3k, yours will have it, with inbuilt GPS.

In the MY11's it was an optional extra.

Hi Greg,

Great news, that was one feature that I wanted but the dealer wasn't too sure about it. By the time that I receive the car it will be MY13 so it might come with a couple of other little goodies!

Ive contacted the dealer twice in a week since I ordered it and still no idea when I will arrive and they tell me the world is in trouble? lol!

Did the 3" Taipan exhaust include a chip? How much difference did you notice in performance?

Murray, I had a rough date after about 2 weeks of placing the order, there is a major delay though.

Dreamer - no chip yet, it feels like it has a bit better take off speed down the bottom end and slightly a bit more up the top end, have only driven it short places but it definately is noticeable in power.

Hey Greg

Great looking car, I have a SR5 hilux atm and im looking at taking the next step to join the prado club, and Im looking for a VX or what they say is an Altitude a bit of a mix between the GXL, VX and the Kakadu.

But if you are thinking of selling in the next few months please let me know as your mod's are deffinitly some of the first ones id be looking at doing also.
