I was trying to figure out how to mount my pole that you did for me back in Sept, for my Tvan and also relocatable, like yours.
Are they able to be retro-fitted to the pole I picked from you?
If so, what is involved? I do have access to a layth, if necessary.
If not, then what is the cost of the pole with it fitted - No Light?
Please advise

Yes it can be retrofitted but there will be welding involved so the anodising around that area will be affected.
What you need is to turn up an ally plug which will be an interference fit to the tube. You then need to tap this plug with a 1/2" BSW thread. When you insert the plug, it will cover up the existing cable entry hole in the tube. Weld through this hole to permanently secure the plug in place. Then drill a new hole higher up for the cable entry. The inner pole will now be too long and the bottom of it will need to be lopped off. I can then supply you with the quick release coupling and the 1/2" BSW stainless threaded bar to complete the assembly.
Otherwise, the pole and quick release fitting is $128 + post. I don't have any as I only got one made and it is going to VIC.
I will order another pole with fittings, no light and keep my current one for other purposes, like the back door of Prado.
Funds aren't available until 15/12.
When they are avail. will transfer straight away, so you maybe able to ship same day.

I won't be able to organise anything until I'm back on board in the new year.
Happy to take registration of interest if anyone else is keen. Email is preferred as it is easier to sort through. Requests gets hard to find in the threads.
The wiring was a little interesting as I needed to drill a hole in the back door to be able to get too the wires coming through the bolt that is provided.
And now the final finish. Looks good and the extendable pole give some good height. I have wired it all the way to the dash just need to wire up the switch tomorrow and it will be complete.
Spacer and light pole combo ordered last Saturday and arrived Thursday and to say I'm impressed with the package, including the instruction, would be an understatement, I looked at the other brand originally until I found this thread and I am so please I ordered Andrews. All will be fitted this weekend.
Thank you for the compliments dwr. I actually do have proper packaging but having delay issues with the local company that makes the box for me.
A tip for the install is to mount the spacer and run some wiring through the supplied bolt with hole in one hit. Also make sure that the way you terminate the wiring through the door allows the spacer to be removed for crash repair purposes.
Good tip Amts, that's one thing I didn't think of when I hard wired my light. Lucky I'm off to Jaycar this morning to pick up connectors for another job.

From memory, I used blue bullet crimp terminals just inside the door as the terminals are small enough to pass through the tapped hole in the door.
Front light in action, little bit of wiring to finish off.
Good quality, bit of play in the quick release but to be expected.
Quick spin, starts to shack badly @ ~60KM/h but settle down @ 100KM/h and above. Would not recommend turning light on while driving as it can spin around and shine in your eyes (not good @ high speed).
