Found a 150 this morning with a rear bar and quickly put up the paper prototype to measure the door profile (with the permission of the owner of course). Will tweak the bracket a bit and back again tomorrow.Comment

Ok, devil's advocate here.
The pole is secured with SS Pipe clamps to the bracket, yes? And the weight is up above the bracket. The vehicle will be driven over bone-jarring corrugations. You know what my question is
If the pole vibrates down through the pipe clamps, will it damage anything? I think the pipe clamps will bite into the ally and hold it tight. Otherwise, a thin sheet of rubber in between. I thought I've see insulated or cushioned pipe clamps. Can't seem to locate them now.Comment

Yep, tape would work. Actually, the telescopic pole comes with a foam grip at the end of the pole. So I guess you can cut the end off that and slide it up the pole where it gets clamped.Comment

A company recommended some of these which apparently fits perfectly to any 1/2" wide hose clamps. Pic below is what I have found on the net. The company did not have their own pic so will take a drive downtown to have a closer look.

Hi pradi2,
The light pole bracket can actually be mounted on the left or right.
I just need to make a bigger landing area on the light pole bracket to accommodate an antenna and a hole to suit. I don't think mounting an antenna next to the light would be practical as you will need a multicore curly cord.Comment
