      HI Madkore

Yeah, After using them for a number of years I find BFG AT's too skatey in the wet once they have a few years on them. Mine had around 55000 km on them whenI sold the car and sometimes in the wet and in also on loose gravel; I didn't like the feel of them.

I have been trying the Coopers on my work Prado 120 for 10 months and love them.

      Cheers,

Fair points. Bit less aggressive though - you didn't think of going the ST Maxx?

On another note, the person who bought your 'old' 120 - are they a Pradopointer?

They will be fine for what I want. The lad who bought it only joined up to chase me for the car. He is not a regular member. Its gone to Tom Price in WA.

She's looking good Matt! Just curious though why you went for the Genesis rather than the XGT's or HID equivalent? I haven't read up on the Genesis yet to see what their selling points are.

I'm still hanging out for my bar and snorkel to be fitted on Monday. Got my lights here, pretty much all the wiring is done, will just need to bolt them on and plug them in, can't wait.

              Cheers,
              Dave.

Looking good. Took me 18 months to save up for my bar. Missing the bush side stripes.

Looks great Matt, If you don't mind me asking, what was the change over for the upgraded Cooper AT3's over the standard tires?

                  Cheers,
                  Muz.

Dave they are HID Genesis 50 watt. Cost a small fortune !

So what's the advantage over the 50W HID in the XGT housing? Not being picky, just curious is all. I went for the Genuine Lightforce 70W HID XGTs, I'm hearing you on the small fortune bit, they'd want to be bloody good.

I just wanted the compact size of the genesis. Liked the idea of tucking them further back in the bar to protect them when I hit a roo. Same solid HID grunt, but smaller and attracts less attention from light fingered persons...

Thats a better deal than I was given but I was changing over 18's so that might of added to it. Thanks for the info, I'll check with my
dealer and see if he will sharpen his pencil on this one.
