    Yota's 150

    well my brother drove away with the old girl tonight so I guess it's time to start the build on the new one.

    After a bit of phoning around we found a 150 GX manual in stock, ordered it on the 10th, picked it up on the 19th. Could of picked it up on the 13th if I wanted.
    Caught the train down to Sydney to pick it up and kept driving south, had 1400km on it before we got home.
    Still stock at the moment, waiting for the toyota sales lady to come back off holidays then teeing up with ARB for winch bar & winch, kaymar twin wheel carrier and snorkel to get fitted. (toyota fleet get VERY good deals at ARB) Very happy so far, exept for one of the rear doors wont open, loose spring or screw or something, can fiddle with it and get it to open from the inside only, other than that looks like a great rig.

    With less than 300km on the clock, it was already getting dirty.

        Very nice, I am still waiting for mine. Mine is an auto and there are none available so hopefully it will turn up in march.

              as soon as i decide what wheels to get
              still deciding between the limited choice of black wheels, or having some painted. Will be getting 6, fitted with Micky Thomson MTZ's again

                Ordered the 1st mod yesterday, a roof console from dept. of interia.
                Having 2 GME UHF radios fitted with extension speakers plus a hole for the Codan HF
                Should be built and sent by Friday, then Ill just need the bull bar fitted to mount the ariels

                    yer getting the 2 UHF's mounted same as yours, a 3510 on the bottom and a 3520 remote face on top, the Codan NGT all in one hand piece and will be mounted on the side plus a 3rd extension speaker underneath.

                      Spent all day yesterday installing the roof console, what a ^&*% of a job.
                      Cabling is easy, lining the console up straight and drilling holes in the right spot is not so easy.
                      But very happy with the end result, just need to get the bars on so I can mount some ariels.

                              well that hurt the old bank account!
                              picked up the new suspension, koni raids and king springs plus poly airs
                              ordered the new shoes, 6 speedy chariots with micky t MTZ's.
                              visited ARB & ordered bar, winch, bashplates, snorkel, kaymar twin wheel carrier and black widow draws.
                              cant wait to get it all fitted, lets hope it doesnt take to long to come in
