Looks interesting Richard, considering the Scan Gauge doesn't work with the 90 series it could be the way for 'us' to be able to monitor the essentials. Having said that, if it works, it will be a much cheaper way to keep in touch with the Prado's diagnostics
But i still come from the dark ages and don't own an android (yet)

Pity the early 120 series don't have OBDII. I think OBDII came in for the late 2004 120's.
I guess the 90's are in a similar situation.

Yeah 90 series is out for OBDII & probably early 120's too...by law I think it was Jan 2006 for petrols & Jan 2007 for Diesels that had to have OBDII ....but I can plug it into the 150!

Yep basically the same except bluetooth & android app "Torque" - there are a few more windows apps that are compatible & I found a lite one for my Blackberry...will test & provide feedback.

I've ordered something similar from a US supplier only this morning, cheap enough to load an app and have a play with on my wifes netbook or ipad when it arrives.

OK mine came today, however it doesn't appear to work with the work XTrail....only the power light comes on, & ........I can't find the socket location on the 150! I've looked everywhere....final found the fuse box as it was close to that in the 120 apparently....
Any hints where it is?

I should have bought mine on eBay. I paid more from this mob, expecting it to arrive within the week, only to realise it's also from o/s anyway. Live and learn.
