I did get out today on some tracks behind Anglesea and Airey's Inlet (see report) - no corrugations but lots of slow humps and bumps and the RAM Mount performed really well.

Hi Brigadoon, the UHF is mounted under/behind the dash low on driver's side. To be honest I couldn't tell you exactly where it is as it was fitted while I was having the electricals done by ARB.

I chose the BW water tank option because it is easily mounted (and removed) as it is held in place by two ratchet straps hooked into a mounting plate that has 4 bolts that screw directly into the drawer top. It takes less than a minute to take the tank out and another minute to take the mounting plate out if a flat surface is required. Also, because it's shaped to fit the angle of the cargo barrier, it does not take up much more room than a 25L jerry can. It comes with a built in pump that I have wired up with 3mm cable to cig plug with built in fuse and switch. I now just have to work out if/how/where to mount the hose - currently just coiled up next to the tank - will leave it for a few trips to try out a few temporary options.

        Ian,
How did you end up mounting the hose from the water tank?
Does it fit under the right black widow drawer wing?
        Cheers

          Hi Gumboot
It's still where it is in the photo...coiled up next to the tank :-(
Most likely solution will be clips around the top shelf but need time to try out first...so much to do, so little time ;-)

Looks like a neat setup. I hear that the stainless steel tanks are usually the best and some of the plastic tanks get that platsic taste. How do you find yours?

No plastic taste. It is supposed to be food quality plastic tank and hose. Also, it is light and very easy to handle (getting it in/out of vehicle).

Sounds like you have the best of worlds with it then, light, has a electric pump and a decent amount of water storage.

A couple of small recent additions:

                  Dash mat

Rear Door Light (4x4 Equip Twin Duo 50 LED Strip Light)

attached with screw on clips so easily attached/removed as required and plugs into 12V outlet in rear of vehicle

Not sure what's going on with photos here. Yesterday found they had all been resized to 120x80 (without me doing anything) so I relinked them and now the links are broken @&$)(!
I suspect something weird is going on with the photo host but sitting in airport lounge and using iPad at moment and photo management is a pain on iPad so will check what's up later.
Anyone else seen/experienced problems with Postimage?

**Update: relinked photos in first post. Will wait and see what happens to those before I do anymore.

I use Photobucket as Postimage doesn't seem to allow you to scroll through images posted and sometimes won't open on my iPhone.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

I'm going to transfer to PhotoBucket and relink photos as soon as I get a sensible Internet connection again.

I often have drama uploading the photos. I think it has to do with the size of them in my instance. That, and the fact Im computer illiterate!

                                Rear recovery points

Finally got some recovery points organised. Rear ones were installed yesterday by Rally Offroad in Geelong

                                Passenger side

Driver side required some rebuilding of the exhaust to divert from chassis rail.

Front points were due to be installed at the same time but the wrong ones were delivered so have to wait for next week.
