First service today and off to ARB tomorrow for phase 1...
Pre lift clearances (bottom of wheel to wheel arch):
                  Front left 765mm right 768mm
                  Rear left 798mm right 801mm
As I am also adding bullbar, lights and dual battery system to front end, I will be interested to see how much additional lift I get there. Rear will have nothing extra on it until I get drawer system and roof rack in phase 2.

I'm interested to see what you class as front and rear tow hooks as I didn't think they could be fitted to the 150

Originally I was looking to just put tow hooks, similar to these from Bushranger but ARB tell me that the existing hooks on the 150 are equal to or stronger than these anyway...

                      Any opinions on this appreciated.

                          Hi Ian

Sounds good you probably won't see much of a drop in the suspension as mine has done 30000k's and is pretty much the same. also I bought a holder from Hold my Phone (they are a web company) and it clips on to the left side of the console and you just screw the mike holder to it, no holes in the car.

                          http://www.holdmyphone.com.au/Prado-...html?addcart=1

I put Outback Ideas recovery points on my car with the ARB deluxe bar, they are a bit expensive but I'm happy with them as they are usually the first part to hit the ground.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

I'll check out the mic holder.

I have been thinking about the Outback Ideas recovery points for the front but there's no equivalent for the rear and I don't have (and don't intend to have) a towbar so not sure what to do with the rear.

Ursula, a tow bar in the rear maybe cheaper than the front recovery points, the big cost of the towbar is the wiring costs??? So a towbar without wiring would not only offer protection for the back of the car but also double as a good recovery point. Food for thought.
