Extended warranty for the 150

I just called their generic number and asked to speak to someone who did Extended warranty. Was put through to a lady named Belinda. Not sure which Toyota dealership she worked at. I will PM you her direct number.

Ok, bit the bullet, another 3 years / 75,000 km extended warranty using CMI Secure for $1495.

This will cover me for years 6, 7 & 8 of the old girls life.

Same extended warranty as I had for years 4 & 5. I have got to say that CMI were really good and picked up stuff requiring fix that I hadn't noticed and did it under extended warranty without any hassles. Ok, got to go to them for regular servicing but have been ok for last 5 years.

They also told me that if I was under 150,000 km at the end of year 8, they would offer extended warranty for another 2 years.

I haven't heard anywhere before of warranty coverage beyond year 6 on the Prado. So far so good, keeping fingers crossed but gives me good peace of mind.
Anything significant like oil leaks from rocker cover that I had will more than pay for extended warranty.

What type of mods have people had to there cars and there warranty has still gone through and what warranty claims have be void due to your mods and what mods were they?
