  • I'm well limited with garage length. Anyone know how much length an ARB delux bar adds to a Prado? I have about 200mm to spare.

    • The ARB deluxe bar adds approximately 185mm.

It will be a tight fit BUT you will get in in.....

That sure looks good Baz, I like the look of the T3, if only my gut didn't keep telling me I will need the extra protection of the T13.

                    • I know what you mean Andy I rationalise it by thinking of the strikes I had in my 90 series. 5 kangaroos or wallabies an emu and a bump on a cow and they were all on the main bars body (and mainly lower side) not the "wings". Of course that doesn't mean things won't change.

                        • Actually, now I think about it, most of the things I hit in my cruiser were either dead centre or sort enough that the outer loops wouldn't of done anything. I just know if I went for the T3, the first skip I hit would of destroyed a headlight, it's just my luck.

                          • I was thinking of the T3 until my brother showed me his bulbar grave yard.
He has a smash repair business in country NSW.
Most of the replaced bars are due to skippy and not many with hits in the middle.
the hoops were bent but reduced most of the damage, in some cases he reckons it was only the bar damaged.
Best one he showed me was a bar of a new Colorado. it was pushed back onto the bonnet.
                            hit in the middle.
Someone did not put in the pin bolts when they fitted it.
I still like the T3 Bar looks great!
