My rig is booked in next week for the ARB under body protection to be fitted. I will post some pics up when its done.

I also have it booked in this week to get my rear springs changed. Opposite lock supplied me with the constant load springs for towing. I didn't ask for these. Which makes my prado ruff as guts and it also looks pretty stupid all jacked up in the rear. One of the rear shocks is also getting replaced because it has a bad squeak.

Looks the goods Barry! I hope I can make my incoming one resemble your beast!

Thanks mate I'm sure you will! Yeah the underbody guard is definitely there. I could have it now if I wanted to fit it myself.

I had the ARB under body protection fitted today. I thought the back of the transfer case may have been more protected. But anyway here are some pics.

Interesting design, too many holes and bends for me, lots of places to get mud and crap caught up.

Notice how far it comes down at the front. It gives them a nice little spot to put their logo;p

In my experience mud and crap will always get in! the design would make getting it OUT a little easier IMO.
                  Looks great Barry, well done.

                    Barry

Does the ARB cover the black 4WD actuating box on the side of the transfer case? Thats the main thing I'm looking to protect as it stiocks out and looks easy to hit.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

No it does not. I was disappointed it didn't. You can see it in the first pic in the second lot of pictures.

It's a shame they don't cover the little black box.

However I still think they look great.

Hey barryswanson, with the ARB underbody plates, do they allow access to the sump plug to change the oil, or do you need to remove the whole plate.....I asked ARB at the Brisbane Caravan and Touring show but the arb didn't know....also, does the sump plate require a bullbar to "marry" up with at the front, or can it be fitted successfully if there is no bullbar.....thanks so much.
Where did you get the muddies and approx $ ....looking good...very good.

brogers, there is a spot there to access the sump bolt so you don't have to remove the whole plate. No you do not need a bull bar to to fit the plate. The tyres I got off eBay for $1450 plus a $100 freight to Townsville and that was for four. The bloke selling them didn't have a fifth for a spare unfortunately.
