I recon you should try and contact the owner to get some info on what's been done. I don't think there's much left of the front body seams.

I'd like some kind of bar like that to protect the rear bumper but made steel obviously.

Looks like it is all body lift, he has just modified the bumper bar mounts to bring the bumpers up, the bull bar mounts to bring it up, but he has forgotten to do the rear scrub bar.
If you look at the rear lower control arm, look where the front mount is, this give you the biggest clue that it is only body lift.

Good call croozza. One of the photos from behind shows a massive gap between to rear bumper and the exhaust pipe. Though the lower wish bone angles shown in one photo sugests it has more than the standard 2" of suspension lift.

The front arms look standard, and can't see any custom drop mounts for the front arms, so I'd say around 2" of suspension. The chassis is very clear even with the custom side steps, and the exhaust is very low as already noted - so definitely a lot of body lift, maybe 4".

Now paint it in Cammo and you've got yourself a mini Unimog! From just the initial look at the pics, what do you think the approx cost would be for that work? It reminds me of an 80 series Cruiser with that lift.

It's hard to gauge the size of the tyres but using photos of glen's 33" tyres for scale, they look to be 34" or 35".

Yeah, reminds me of the big lift cruisers as well.

Aside from suspension and tyres costs, which you would know... For wheel arch cutting and a 4" body lift the cost could be anywhere between $400 to $6000 depending on whether it's a dodgy job or a quality third party professional. I think a quality job between mates would be under $1000, but it really depends on how much of the fabrication needs to be outsourced to professionals, and how legal it needs to be.

                  There's a big difference between a 2" body lift and 4".

Am I the only one that thinks that thing looks bad? It looks cheaply built to me and I expect it to rub the front wheel-wells very badly. I'm all for big tires but I also think that you should cut the body for bigger tires, not just lift it high enough to clear the tires.

I would be hesitant to go off camber in that Prado.

                      Well... yes and no.

It LOOKS pretty awesome to me, but I wouldn't build my Prado that way, it has too much body lift. I'd rather spend more on the suspension lift and articulation.

I think Icelanders have a very different style though. You can have much larger tyres than we could ever hope for. We cannot exceed 35", and that's if we're lucky. So we make up for it in other ways.

                            That thing is a beast!

The front diff is on the drivers side, so I'm guessing he's running an 80 series front axle and transfer case and possibly a 80 series rear axle too as a 90 series rear axle wouldn't bolt to a 80 series T-case (wrong diff location)
